nvg949600gtangle.jpg We ran across this Chinese site that has the world's first benchmarks of the 9600GT or G94 from NVIDIA. Chris combed, analyzed, and organized the data. Read on to look at the results and specification for this new video card.

**Update**: NVIDIA had to push back the release date due to a Voltage offset problem. The date has been moved from the 14th to the 21st of February, 2008.

contactlensescreen.jpgThe field of display technology has seen some impressive announcements recently, but this one tops the charts for this crew. The University of Washington has implemented microscopic manufacturing or self-assembly (capillary forces) to make a new kind of contact lens. This contact has a microscopic imprinted circuit with light emitting capabilities. This kind of breakthrough opens the door to a host of possible applications, including HUD overlays and immersive displays. Do not get too excited yet, read on about the prototype technology.
